College Students

College Students

I, being a college student myself, have a lot of respect, admiration, and sympathy for other college students.

They spend their days busting their ass to nail that great metaphor they've been saving for the last paragraph.

They study all weekend and get drunk every single night.

They tell their friends about all sorts of grandiose secrets that bother them when they go to sleep at night.

I appreciate their dreams ideas, intellects, and curiosities.

Their entrepreneurship and creativity.

Their banality and foie gras of Episcopalian ritualism that begets the ever so tactful of college goers in their prime.

To be, or not to be, young again? Many future college students will revel in a technological utopia beyond the fingertips of modern man and wonder why the people of the past did not have such a luxury and to them I say that their lives were built on the deaths of millions and to be like pain and suffering are a thing of the past and perhaps, even death,

Moving on, I thought I'd cover one thing about college students that seems to be a bit of a hallmark of college which is radicalism.

Radical display of political views via political activism and civic action is always nice.

College students really know how to stick it "that guy" or "the man", whenever the need arises.

Take these college students for example, in Sacramento:

In early March 2012, this sight was not uncommon at the capitol due to oncoming cuts to education in colleges.

Many, many college goers showed up to prevent the massive loss of funding to their schools because there wasn't much more out there for them.

Lawmakers in the capitol were made aware of a massive demographic teeming with opposition to their desire to make college more expensive.

College goers seem to have this effect of being able to make those few ideas which just seem like crazy fun ideas most people will never do, real.

For instance, if any out there are familiar with UCLA and USC then you should be familiar with their legendary rivalry.

The rivalry of USC and UCLA has been infamous and has amounted to being being beat and killed, public property being defaced, sports traditions being established, and more.

In fact, the famous spartan statue at USC was holding a sword and some college students rented an airplane and had it airlifted from the campus only to later return it.

Also, the statue has been spray painted multiple times, had the sword hacked off and re-attached to its groin region, and been covered in feces and bile.

It still stands to this day.

College students are truly the epitome of freedom in this country, regardless of ho lawless their behavior may be.

Ukrainian Crisis / Civil War

Ukrainian Crisis / Civil War

The escalating Ukrainian Crisis is nothing if not a Civil War.

Firstly, the oil pipelines running from Russia to Europe are of paramount importance to not only the EU and the RF but also to the business interests of both organizations. To attack or attempt to seize the oil pipeline in anyway, the Pro-Russian Ukrainian forces would be jeopardizing the supply lines of the EU and the political stability of the entire Caucasus as well as the EU.
Crimean Protest, Riot, Unrest, Anger
Crimean Protest
There's not much to laugh about and there's certainly some scenes unfolding there I wouldn't want in a school play however, the fact of the matter is that this article will 100% NOT cover everything happening in Ukraine, including the statistical chance of an invading superpower stepping in,

Secondly, the current political and military situation in Ukraine's eastern regions including Crimea is unstable. Anything can happen as any invading superpower could conquer the region and militarily siege the supply lines, cutting them off, or siphon the oil for themselves.

In order to achieve stability in the region the Ukrainian and Russian governments must back down and let democracy continue but Crimea should allow the U.N. and the Red Cross in to aid the in wounded and act as peacekeepers to ensure violence does not continue. At the rate that the Crimean crisis is escalating it is only a matter of time before a full-scale Civil War erupts.

Many believe a civil war has already begun with pro-Russian soldiers seizing police stations, government offices, and key strategic buildings to safeguard their territorial gains.  Crimea, with pro-Russian soldiers, Russian soldiers, and the entirety of Russia's military mobilized on the bored of Ukraine in what seems like the classic pincer movement of an invading superpower, where a civil war even be out of the question as a full-scale international powder keg may erupt at a feather's drop.

As to whether or not there is a civil war ongoing, it certainly SEEMS that way.

Now would be the perfect time for an invading superpower to seize Ukraine or Crimea, when at its weakest. Although, it would be globally unpopular to seize Crimea amongst all the political and democratic instability.

Thirdly, Pro-Russian Soldiers are attacking police stations and sieging them in order to seize the arsenal of weapons within alongside armor and other tactical weapons and gear in order to upgrade their weapons and armor from the lower caliber outfits they have and to arm those volunteers willing to enlist with them.

Blood is being spilled and massacres are taking place at these flash points throughout eastern Ukraine and the U.N. needs to step in in order to end the violence where it is most intense or else there will be a full-scale civil war.

Crimean Crisis

Pro-Russian forces are arming and fortifying their numbers more so each day and it is only a matter of time before they have a full standing army.

If the U.N. acts NOW they can do something.

If the RUSSIANS act now, they can stop the violence.

If the UKRAINIANS act now they can stop the violence.

Whoever steps in can end this all RIGHT NOW, even AN INVADING SUPERPOWER.

Global Murder Rates Drop, Americas Still "Violent"

Global Murder Rates Drop, Americas Still "Violent"

Honduras currently has the highest murder rate in the world with the city of San Pedro Sula boasting a murder rate of 90.4 out of every 100,000 people, 15 times the likelihood of murder for the average human being.

There is no such thing as heaven in a city like San Pedro Sula as it would seem. Hell is a place on earth, and its name is San Pedro Sula.

Obama, Putin, and Europe

Obama, Putin, and Europe

A Swat Team is about to break into your house and the entirety of five city blocks surrounding your home have been blocked off. You have ten seconds to prepare yourself before them battering ram your door, smashing it off its hinges and storm the place.

Just kidding, not another one of those god dam posts! Enough is enough!

Time for some awesome shit.

America is apparently doing better in the economy, Russia has decided it probably ISN'T gonna annex the Ukraine, Poland is kind of just chilling, and Germany is like, "Who needs money?"

Obama does look incredibly weak when it comes to his deals with Putin it's kind of like, "When is the Big O gonna lay the smack down and mop the floor with this guy!?" But hey, if a country won't defend itself for fear of severe overwhelming retaliation at the merest flinch of aggression from a defensive nation you're BONED.

Democracy flies out the window and might makes right, realities make for great reality television, and still being alive means those that are dead by default cannot have what you're fighting over.

Cool.

In other news don't mention X or Y or Z or you'll die in a feminazi fire, a grammar nazi fire, or a labor nazi fire.

Rainbows.
